🪀🪀Yo-yo Enthusiast 🪀🪀

An oat cream IPA loaded up with Citra, Amarillo and Sabro hops. Juicy, tropical, piña colada creaminess. This beer is somewhat of a cult favourite from earlier in the year and we couldn’t resist giving it another spin!

Tomorrow at midday we’re dropping this naughty little double fruited sour. Packed full of tart cherry and succulent blood plum. Zingy, tart, spritzy and sweet. Yes.

We’ve put a 2 x 4pk limit on cans to try and make it last a little longer. Available online at 12pm AEST (that’s QLD time for those south of the border 😉).

BEER RELEASE: FRIDAY 16/10 🍒🍒
We’ve got 2 x releases this week and we think you’ll be pretty stoked on both of them.

First up, do y’all like JAM?! This version of JAM is an intensely fruited sour ale full of Cherry and Blood Plum. We double our regular fruiting levels to bring JAM to another level. This fruit combination is a bit of treat and balances tart acidity with sweetness delicately. A strikingly deep shade of purple meets the eye, right before the aromas take over. Tart, rich, and sweet fruit flavours come in waves upon the first mouthful and are long lasting. The body is strong and full, which allows the flavours to coat your palate, leaving rich and juicy stone fruit a plenty.

Next up, the return of a crowd favourite! Yo-yo Enthusiast is an Oat Cream IPA. Brewed with a light malt bill, heavy on the oats and an addition of lactose. The colour is a light golden yellow, with a medium haze. We've dry-hopped the Enthusiast with a combination of Citra, Amarillo and Sabro. We're getting ultra tropical aromas of pineapple and mango with that distinctive coconut that we love from Sabro. The mouthfeel is soft and creamy with a swirling combination of tropical fruit that dances on the palate. A subtle coconut finish with virtually no bitterness.

An isolation collaboration with our friends @trackbrewingco.

An extremely juicy Oat Cream Double IPA. Citra, Mosaic and Galaxy hops combine to provide an intense paw paw aroma on the nose. The huge addition of oats and a touch of lactose creates a smooth velvet mouthfeel. It only takes one sip and your taste buds are wanting more of this guava and orange-filled 8.2% hop bomb.

BEER RELEASE: FRIDAY 09/10
TWO NEW BEERS at either end of the ABV scale coming at you this Friday!

The first beer is Meet Me In The Middle. We've taken @trackbrewingco's popular Oat Cream DIPA and brewed it for the Southern Hemisphere. We'd have a crack at describing the beer, but we felt we couldn't do it better than Track Brewing:
"This beer is an absolute quantum vibration of tropical dilemmas thrown around the hive mind. Expect juicy papaya, sweet guava, and luxurious velvet sweetness from Citra Mosaic, Galaxy and Milk Sugar". 🪐

Our second beer is Leave No Trace. As the weather is starting to warm up, we've decided to tweak our pale ale recipe by lowering the ABV without compromising on the flavour. Expect a light body, subtle haze with hints of coconut, tangerine and lychee. If you were deserted on a hot tropical island with only this beer, you would be satisfied. 🌴

If you’ve been in for a pint in the last couple

If you’ve been in for a pint in the last couple of months you may have noticed a small change to our taps. We recently installed a traditional Czech-style side pull faucet. This method of serving originated in Czech, specifically for pouring pilsners. The inside of the tap contains a small screen, which when the beer flows through, creates a dense and creamy foam that sits atop the beer. This foam not only protects the beer but also enhances the flavours.

If you watch closely, you’ll notice that we submerge the tap fully into the beer so that it flows beneath the foam. While this practice is typically discouraged when pouring beer, this is the correct method when pouring from a side pull faucet. We are constantly rinsing and sanitising the tap to ensure it remains clean.
