Illusions is the fourth release of our barrel-aged stout program. Illusions I is served straight up from Buffalo Trace and Cape Byron Whiskey Barrels. It pours a deep pitch black with a creamy espresso-coloured foam. This years edition has an elevated and dense mouthfeel. Luscious and smooth, it features hints of vanilla, cinnamon, raisins, figs, and rich chocolate with hints of maple bourbon and vanilla rounding things out. The slickness of the mouthfeel envelopes the palate after every sip.
